HEMPSTEAD LAKE STATE PARK – ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND RESILIENCY CENTER

JOADEM Corporation has been hired by Crosscheck Inspections to provide visual inspection services for the pile driving operation on the Hempstead Lake State Park updates and improvements project. The project encompasses various enhancements, including renovated trails, repaired dams, the construction of an environmental education and resiliency center, and the addition of 48 new parking spots.

The focal point of the project is the environmental education and resiliency center, an 8,000 square foot hands-on learning facility dedicated to storm resiliency and environmental management. The center was designed with sustainable features to optimize energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

JOADEM Corporation’s involvement in the project focuses on providing visual inspection services for the pile driving operation. This operation involves driving 100 timber piles to provide structural support for the construction of the environmental education and resiliency center.

As part of our responsibilities, JOADEM Corporation conducted visual inspections to ensure the proper installation and alignment of the timber piles. Our expertise allows us to assess the quality and compliance of the pile driving operation, ensuring that the piles meet the required standards and specifications.
