THE BAY PARK CONVEYANCE PROJECT

The Bay Park Conveyance Project is a partnership between the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and the Nassau County Department of Public Works (NCDPW). This project is focused on improving the water quality and storm resiliency in Long Island’s Western Bays by upgrading its existing wastewater management infrastructure.

THE NEW TERMINAL ONE PROJECT - JFK

The New Terminal One is a key component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion transformation of JFK Airport into a world-class gateway, which will include two new terminals, the modernization and expansion of two existing terminals, a new ground transportation center, and an entirely new, simplified roadway network

JONES BEACH EAST BATHHOUSE REHABILITATION

The rehabilitation of the Jones Beach East Bathhouse was designed to address climate change, particularly flooding and inundation. In addition, the facility will be switched from fossil fuels to all-electric, building systems controls, and on-site photovoltaics, reducing the facility’s carbon footprint.

The scope of work includes the abatement and demolition of non-historic patio and picnic areas, rehabilitation of the historic main bathhouse and installation of a zero-entry pool for swim instruction. Abayomi has been performing grout testing and pile inspection for this project.

NYCEDC PUBLIC HEALTH LAB PROJECT

This project entails the demolition of three existing buildings for the ground-up construction of the new state of the art public health lab (PHL) building and site improvements.

The 10-story, 240,000-square-foot building was designed with staff wellness in mind, and will comply with New York City’s new, ambitious resiliency and sustainability regulations. The $454-million building will be designed to meet LEED version 4 Silver and be a resilient structure with all critical building systems located above the current 100-year flood plain.

SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION AUTHORITY – CMS-16057

JOADEM Corporation has extensive experience performing special inspections and materials testing under the SCA CMS-16057 contract. Under this contract, JOADEM was hired to provide inspections, testing and reporting services required by the applicable and latest NYC Building Codes and requirements of other agencies etc. with jurisdiction.

JOADEM Corporation thoroughly inspected the designated schools to ensure both the quality of work performed by construction contractors, as well as compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, requirements, etc.

NYC FOOTBALL CLUB ETIHAD PARK SOCCER STADIUM

The City of New York, in partnership with a team of developers and the New York City Football Club (NYCFC), has launched an ambitious initiative to build the city’s first dedicated soccer stadium in Willets Point, Queens. This transformative project aims to revitalize the historically underserved Willets Point area into a dynamic new neighborhood featuring a modern $780 million-dollar soccer stadium, affordable housing, retail establishments, and community amenities.

NYC DOE LOCAL LAW 11/98 CYCLE 9 FAÇADE INSPECTIONS

JOADEM Corporation has extensive experience performing façade inspections under the NYC DOE Local Law 11 Cycle 9 contract. This project required the inspection of approximately 40 building façades to be conducted and witnessed by or under direct supervision of a N.Y. State licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) on behalf of the Division of School Facilities. Inspection includes all façade, parapet walls, railings and guard railings, fire escapes window, mounted air conditioners, etc.
