DESIGN BUILD SERVICES FOR EAST-BOUND RE-ROUTE

JOADEM Corporation has been hired by Vantage Airport Group as a third-party Class 1 agency to perform Special Inspections and Materials Testing for the test pile program, which is part of the larger redevelopment project of Terminal 6 & 7.

The test pile program plays a crucial role in the redevelopment project, which involves the construction of a new terminal on the former site of Terminal 6, demolished in 2011, and the eventual removal of the aging Terminal 7 after British Airways relocates to Terminal 8.

The test pile program is a comprehensive initiative that includes the installation and testing of various types of piles. It involves the installation and axial and lateral load testing of a minimum of four taper tube piles, one micro pile, and one optional pile. These tests are conducted at full scale to assess the performance and load-bearing capacity of the piles.

As a Class 1 agency, JOADEM Corporation assumes the responsibility of performing Special Inspections and Materials Testing for the entire project. This entails conducting meticulous inspections and tests to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. JOADEM’s involvement guarantees that the construction activities and materials used in the test pile program meet the necessary specifications and demonstrate structural integrity.
