LIRR WYNDANCH STATION ENHANCEMENT PROJECT

JOADEM Corporation played a crucial role in the Double Track Project for the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) by providing Special Inspections and Materials Testing Laboratory services. The project involved the construction of two new 12-car long platforms with various enhancements to improve station facilities and accessibility.

The scope of work undertaken by JOADEM included conducting special inspections and materials testing for the rebar placement and concrete pouring on the platform slabs, columns, stairs, and walkways. Our expertise ensured compliance with quality standards and specifications throughout the construction process.

Given the project’s significance and the need to minimize disruptions to train service and the local community, the construction and inspection were carried out in several phases and at an expedited pace.
