MTA CULVER LINE CBTC PROJECT

JOADEM Corporation has been contracted by Bureau Veritas to provide quality control (QC) special inspections and materials testing services for the MTA New York City Transit’s (NYCT) Culver Line Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) Project in Brooklyn, New York.

The scope of JOADEM’s involvement encompasses various aspects of the project, including the installation of piles, grout testing and sampling, soil compaction testing, concrete placement and testing, as well as welding and fireproofing inspections.

The project aims to overlay the complete CBTC signal system on NYCT’s Culver Line, which stretches between West 8th Street and Church Avenue.

Additionally, signal system modernization is planned for the Avenue X and Ditmas Avenue interlockings, alongside trackwork and the construction of three relay room buildings.

JOADEM’s role is crucial in ensuring the adherence to quality standards and conducting inspections and testing procedures to guarantee the project’s successful implementation.
